It’s a popular saying that you shouldn’t put all your eggs in one basket and it’s true to mean that you should test different waters cause if that one doesn’t work you have something else to fall back on!
Well their right but I’m here to give you a whole new perspective of it!
Why don’t you put the right egg in the right basket 😁
Let me explain I’ve been a very uncertain person for most part of my life and some of my friends will agree to that!
I’ve always wanted to stick to one thing but I’m also good at a lot of things by Gods grace and also by that same grace I’ll get perfect. So I’m always between opinions! Sometimes I rush into things at the slightest opportunity often without thinking far!
But the truth is this why be uncertain?
An uncertain person is usually anxious of many things!
An uncertain person is hardly ever at peace!
An uncertain person can be usually swayed by any decision that comes his or her way!
But apart from being uncertain it’s even worse to be certain about the wrong thing!
Have you met those kind of people that they are so stock up in their idea even if to the rest of the world that idea is doomed for failure and honestly it turns out to be a complete disaster and they are like I wish I had just listened.
The bible is peculiar about both persons-
To the uncertain person the bible says:
James 1:6-7
But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for the one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed by the wind. For that person must not suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord;
And to the proud:
Isaiah 5:21
Woe to those who are wise in their own eyes, and shrewd in their own sight!
So here is my saying to you :
REST! TRUST GOD!
Proverbs 3:5-6
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him,and he will make straight your paths.
The above passage explains exactly this. It is important to get to the level where we trust God to guide us into what we do and when.
A typical example is ISAAC
Genesis 26:12
And Isaac sowed in that land and reaped in the same year a hundredfold. The Lord blessed him,
Isaac had a plan! For sure he knew what he wanted to do and the situation at that moment justified his actions of wanting to move but before he got to his final destination God stopped him and gave him a different plan!
Isaac trusted God and he leaned on his promise- it is something we should also do
If you are a child of God the word of God is full of promises and woes too you know! But we aren’t threatened by the warnings and woes although some of them are there to guide us but Gods love has not made us a slave to fear but we are called to have a relationship him Him.
So dont just jump at the idea of not putting all your eggs in one basket; don’t even be foolish to put all your eggs in one basket; just trust God to put the right egg in the right basket. God is Faithful He will help us!!
Love you guys plenty! Please continue to read and share!
amen

It takes consciousness to purge one’s mind from worldly conventional ‘wisdom’ like not putting all one’s eggs in a basket.
Also, it becomes even seemingly difficult when we don’t get what we want (from Him) as at our own best time, especially with Bible references like, “…Isaac sowed….and reaped in the same year…”. At times like these, we should simply remember He has called us for different assignments and He always has our backs.
