My mum asked me a question this morning about the Psalm:
Psalms 37:23
The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord:
and he delighteth in his way.
She asked that if God orders our steps already, why do we still pray for his guidance.
In my devotion “the Word for today”, there was a message series about God’s guidance. They said that God is always guiding his children but most times we aren’t receptive to His leading.
In my own mind however a different war was raging. I had recently just faced something I would call a disappointing situation. I knew that I was more or less under qualified for the position I was seeking but I kept confessing God’s promises to be the head and not the tail. I was upset that God didn’t let me win anyway.
But when I looked over this passage again. I went further to read the the next verse of Psalm 37:
Psalms 37:24
Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down:
for the Lord upholdeth him with his hand.
I know that all things work together for good and in my lowly feeling I still put my hope in God.
There is always a confidence in knowing that God never leaves us.
🎶“Don’t give up on God cause He won’t give up on you- He’s able”🎶
Psalms 32:8
I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go:
I will guide thee with mine eye.
Psalms 25:9
The meek will he guide in judgment:
and the meek will he teach his way.
Genesis 28:15
And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.
Wonderful message….More anointing in Jesus name….amen!!!!

Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
