Happy Easter to you and your family!
The Easter Holiday has been really restful and I’ve kind of missed work. But Jesus is the reason for the season always and because he lives there is so much we get to enjoy:

                         Created Anew 

Because Jesus is alive there is therefore now no condemnation because we are in him. 

Colossians 2:14-15 : Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross; And having spoiled principalities and powers, he made a shew of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

                               Healing

Because Jesus lives we also can live a life of complete and total healing because by his stripes we were healed(1 Peter 2:24). He bore upon himself our weaknesses, sicknesses and shame. 

                              Redemption 

We have been redeemed by the blood because Jesus lives. The things that could not keep him in the ground; the yokes of depression and chains of oppression have been completely broken from our lives. 

1 Corinthians 1:30: But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:

                                  Informed 

We are no longer ignorant. They say knowledge is power right? Well, Because Jesus is alive we now have connection to the Father who knows all things and these things are revealed to us by the Holy Spirit. The word says that the steps of the righteous are ordered by God (Psalm 37:23) and we are made righteous not by our works but because Jesus is alive; because of the grace. 

Romans 5:17

For if by one man’s offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness shall reign in life by one, Jesus Christ.)

Because Jesus is alive we have an inheritance in heaven and on earth. We know that we are heirs. We know that we are light. We know that God’s plans for us are for good. 
                           
                              Sanctified 

Because Jesus is alive we are sanctified and separated from this world. We have been set aside as God’s own people and no longer operate by the principles of this world but by the supernatural power of God that is at work within us. The spirit of God lives inside of us.
                             
                           Triumphant 

Yes! Because he lives we are more than conquerors! Thanks be to God who always causes us to triumph(2 Corinthians 2:14) ! We have victory over sin; over death(because the wages of sin is death); victory over the devil and his hosts(because the Lord of hosts is on our side). We have victory over poverty;victory over emotional, physical or spiritual sicknesses. We triumph over failure and forgetfulness. 

We have no fear of what tomorrow brings because Jesus lives.
