God has blessed us with a mind to think and make decisions and as long as we are alive we can say that we think all the time. We are looking for ways to save or spend. We are looking for new business ideas that would make life easier for us and put extra money on the table.

1 Corinthians 3:7

So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth.

 Paul was speaking of winning souls in the verse but as I thought on an idea this same passage came to me. 

God is the one that indeed gives growth to the ideas we have. It is true that there are some people that do not know God yet they have great ideas and do very well. But it cannot be said that God does not know them because he is the one that created them and gives ideas to whom ever is ready to nurture them. So He is the one that gives the increase to whatever plan, vision or idea you have in your mind. 

Proverbs 19:21

Many are the plans in the mind of a man,but it is the purpose of the Lord that will stand.

We may come up with some great idea which may end up only in the germination stage. Someone might be nice enough to give us some financial support as Appolos watered but without the divine support from God or without a purpose that is pleasing to God, there will be no growth. 

BUT HOW WILL I KNOW IF THIS PURPOSE IS PLEASING TO GOD?

Proverbs 3:6
In all your ways acknowledge him,and he will make straight your paths.

As children of God, operating at different principles than the world, we should at all stages commit our ways to God. We have a special relationship that allows us to commune with the Father as to whatever plan or idea we have in mind. He is the best business partner.
