not all choices

Tyranny of the Urgent by Charles Hummel

Ironically, the busier we get, the more we need these periods (periods to evaluate and plan effectively for the future)—and the less we seem able to schedule them. We become like the fanatic who, unsure of his direction, doubles his speed.

Time to Focus by Demiladeayo

…ask the Holy Spirit to help us to be faithful in the things we have to do and ask Him for self-control in the things we need not do

Have a blessed week

Deuteronomy 30:19

“I call heaven and earth to witness against you today, that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. So choose life in order that you may live, you and your descendants…

‘Self-control in the things we need not do’!!! Doesn’t matter how “right” it is, if it’s not in God’s time, it’s wrong (period).
I bless God for your wisdom and I enjoyed hearing your voice 😃♥️

From experience, the best choice is agreeing to be led by God. Had a meeting for 8am. Got to d office at 7.45am bcos of traffic. God made me attend to some issues prior to rushing off to my meeting. Grudgingly (a sad one on hindsight) obeyed while looking at d clock. Left office at 8.15am and got to meeting at 8.40am. The cleaner would not let me in bcos the office was still being cleaned. Even the officers were late bcos of the traffic (so they said). Lesson is that He knows best and good for us to be led. Get on speaking terms. Love you

Thanks for sharing your experience. it reminds me of the scripture Psalm 37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delighteth in his way. All things work for good 🙂 Talking terms!!!!!
